ACSO Pro Rodeo fever hits Adams County this weekend

The Second Annual Adams County Deputy Sheriff's Pro Rodeo is coming to town!

Join the sheriff's office on April 27 and 28 at the Wayne Johnson Covered Arena for two nights full of family friendly fun for the entire community.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with Pre-Rodeo beginning at 7 p.m. and the Rodeo kicking off at 8 p.m.

The Great Mississipppi River Ballon Race may be over, but there are still plenty of activities left in Natchez this month, including the 34th Annual Natchez Antiques Forum, Ghost Tales Around the Campfire and The Resurrection of Cemetery Road.

Hundreds soar in the Natchez hot air balloon festival

NATCHEZ, MS (WLBT) - The 26th annual Natchez hot air balloon festival got underway high above ground early Friday morning. The festival attracts nearly 25,000 people to the small town for the weekend. One of WLBT's reporters had the chance to take a trip in one of the balloons.

The sound of hot air filled an open field in Natchez around 7 a.m. Friday morning.
